Orange County Tet Festival at Mile Square

In January 2020, more than 40,000 people attended our Tet Festival! During this Vietnamese Lunar New Year celebration, families came together and paid tribute to their ancestors, while celebrating the arrival of the new year. The weekend-long celebration featured tasty, snacks, talented entertainers, cultural performances, carnival rides, and a spectacular firecracker display. Various neighborhood leaders, elected officials, and census representatives were also in attendance.

“The cultural, spiritual, and traditional importance of this celebration is vital to many of our communities throughout Orange County,” said Vice Chairman Do in January 2020. “By celebrating together, we can bring our diverse communities closer through positive shared experiences.”
