On August 15, Supervisor Andrew joined OC Public Works staff at a press conference along the East Garden Grove-Wintersburg Channel to mark a significant milestone toward removing the largest remaining floodplain in Orange County.

Orange County is following the federal government’s guidance to ban TikTok from government devices and equipment. Vice Chairman Andrew Do and Sheriff Don Barnes proposed the ban to ensure the safety and security of County data, information, and technology from potential hacking by the Communist government of China.

Orange County Expands Access to $67.1 million in Funding and 210 Project Based Vouchers for Supportive and Affordable Housing Projects

On Tuesday, February 28, 2023, the Orange County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved changes to the 2023 Supportive Housing Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) that will make it easier for new housing projects to move forward by expanding access to $67.1 million in funding and 210 Project Based Vouchers.

Vice Chairman Andrew Do Supports Homeless Navigation Center in Central OC

Supervisor Andrew Do supports the development of a homeless navigation center in Garden Grove, which has partnered with Westminster, Fountain Valley, and the County of Orange to open a multi-million-dollar center for the homeless. This center will serve families and residents in need of emergency shelter and provide supportive services with mental health, education, and employment assistance.

50,000 People Celebrate the 2023 OC Tet Festival at Mile Square Park

The three-day outdoor festival featured a wide array of Vietnamese food, talented entertainers, cultural performances, carnival rides, lion dances, and a spectacular firecracker display. The event was co-sponsored with Orange County Parks, with financial contributions from CalOptima and Family Choice Health Services.
