Supervisor Andrew Do Hosts Free Senior Scam Stopper Seminar

To help Orange County seniors fight back against scam artists, Orange County Supervisor Andrew Do partnered with the Contractors State License Board to host a free Senior Scam Stopper Seminar.

“State lawmakers have put more petty thieves and scam artists back on our streets,” said Orange County Supervisor Andrew Do, a former Orange County prosecutor who now represents the First District on the Board of Supervisors. “We’ve organized this free event to help our community stay one step ahead of the criminals.”

Scam artists and petty thieves often specifically target seniors. One out of every five seniors has been a victim of fraud, according to the Contractors State License Board. The public was invited to join this free scam prevention seminar to learn how to spot a scam, protect your credit and fight back against identity thieves.
