August 20: Join Supervisor Andrew Do For Groundbreaking of New Bike Trail in Santa Ana

Join Orange County Supervisor Andrew Do and OC Public Works at the August 20th groundbreaking ceremony of a new bike trail in Santa Ana.

The Santa Ana Gardens Bikeway, located between the streets of Monte Vista and McFadden, will provide children with a safe route from the park to Monte Vista Elementary School. The final phase of the bikeway project is expected to be completed in November.

“We’re working to expand the number of recreational facilities in Central Orange County and provide kids with safe spaces to get out and be active,” said Orange County Supervisor Andrew Do, who has worked to expand the number of bike trails in the First District. “Every kid in Orange County deserves a safe place to play.”

Earlier this month, Supervisor Andrew Do announced a $20 million investment by the county’s transportation agency in new bike trail improvements — with $9.2 million supporting projects in Santa Ana, Garden Grove and Westminster.

The public is invited to attend the free event. RSVP is not required but appreciated. To RSVP, call Supervisor Andrew Do’s office at 714-834-3110, or email Joyce.Rivero@ocgov.com.
